Install the homebrew channel in Nintendo Wii 4.0
Well, let's start this. A couple of days (weeks, then) I did a tutorial on how to install the homebrew channel on wii Intendo , which was used in the twilight hack, a hack that (as the name says) required of the game The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, among many other things.
Well, the point is that for a while, came a new hack, which is compatible with the newest version of the Wii system (as I write this post, it's 4.0), and apart is much easier, fast and does not require the zelda game.
The hack in question is called Bannerbomb and the author seems to me comex = P
Anyway, I'll make a quick translation and adaptation of the installation guide found in the same place.
Steps for installation:
1.-Get a SD card. If you have the directory "private" (used by many Wii games), rename it to anything else (temporarily).
2.-aadf1_v108.zip Download the file (from http://bannerbomb.qoid.us/) and unzip to the SD card.
Http://bootmii.org/download/ 3.-Go and download the installer Hackmii. Copy the file to the root installer.elf SD card (root's home directory) and rename it to boot.elf
4.-In the wii, and go to Wii (The bottom left hand corner of the main menu) -> Data Management-> Channels-> SD. Insert the SD card. So should you leave a window style popup saying something like "Load boot.dol / elf?"
5.-Logically, pressed "Yes" / "Yes," and began to load the installer you downloaded previously Hackmii. From there, just follow the onscreen instructions to install the Homebrew Channel ![]()
And presto! A little is not easier and faster than the Twilight Hack? : P
Remember that to know how much they can do with the Homebrew Channel, please contact http://wiibrew.org (in English).
Luck
