Target Format September 2010-March 2011

Wazza! I mean, we return (we return?. _.) With this section yugioh hyper super stuff ... yeah, that.

For now speak briefly of the most viewed decks with this new format without heavy or brain, but with monster reborn dark hole and two of the strongest cards banned.

The more decks seen in these formats in large official tournaments are:

a) Anti-Goals: If they had said before, they knew it or not, the goal is like saying that is the way the game is played (?), in this case usually ranges from Meta TCG (America) and OCG (Japan, land of the community cards). Then we have an Anti-Meta deck is a deck designed to defeat the most dominant decks of time / list / whatever.

Some of the letters included in this type of decks are Thunder King Rai-Oh, DD Crow, Dimensional Prison, Solemn Warning, Botomless Trap Hole Royal Oppression, Doomcaliber Knight, Banisher of the Radiance, King Tiger Wanghu, among many others. You could say that Meta decks usually do much Special Summon, Graveyard or widely used, so these letters deny Special Summon, remove the cards out of play, etc, etc ....

In a format in which much can be done in September to the magic and traps (for lack of Heavy Storm), since these decks can set starting most of his "arsenal".

b) X-Sabers: A deck with letters of support strong enough (Saber Hole, XX-Saber Hyunlei, XX-Saber Darksoul, etc ...) that dominated the previous format and still have enough life now. A combination of Cold Wave XX-Saber Hyunlei which can be fatal, the ability to make Synchros so easy and versatile, a good deck armed with X-Sabers if given good war. No Heavy Storm can set starting without problem the Saber Hole Shrinks, and other strong cards in your deck.

c) Blackwings: Seen it in other formats on this, still have life in the OCG. A good combination of Cards for Black Feathers and Pot of Duality gives acceleration to the deck, the cost of doing Special Summon this turn. No Heavy Storm, no problem can put their Icarus Atack, Black Whirlwind, Botomless Trap Hole and others.

d) Quickdraw: Mastering the previous format tournament, the Quickdraw (with or without Dandylion) does not see much life as before, but continues to be in tournaments, because if its ease of use is quite useful toolbox, along with a good Warrior Drill and loop Caius the Shadow Monarch. No Heavy Storm can set starting your toolbox without any complications. Oh, and 3 Black Rose Dragon, and Debris Dragon Dandylion easily reliving a bit of power up to the deck scored.

e) Infernity: Although most commonly seen in the OCG (Trishula, anyone?) have one life to another TCG tournament. They had more strength in the above format as the triple Infernity Launcher, in this format are devoted to field control with Infernity Barrier. And since there is no Heavy Storm can set all your magic / trap to run out of hand.

f) Ancient / Machina: not commonly seen in the tops of the big tournaments, this deck still has its strength, as they have the ease of doing Swarming Field, and two Mystical Space Typhoon, the Geartowns are a great help ... destroying them to be brought Gadjiltron the Ancient Gear Dragon 3000 ATK monster that can activate magic / traps when attacking.

So more or less is the goal of this format. Monster Reborn Dark Hole and do not change the format so as to decks used, as these are Staples in many decks. Only the Frog Synchro / Frog OTK format disappeared since the banneo of Substitoad.

See ya in the next issue of Yu-Gi-Oh! with Dark Shadow.

September Yu-Gi-Oh 2010

As I have to fix a laptop and do not want to do, and I want to know my opinion of the list to [anyone] who is interested, I get tons criticize the new ban list for yugioh Konami. Effective September 1, 2010 to March 1, 2011.

Listings only changes:

Prohibited:
Substitoad. - Just totally killed the new frog decks (not those using Wetlands and stuff). Not surprisingly, therefore, as the frogs to win the world championship (Frog FTK [First Turn Kill]).

Cat Rescue. - They gave him a tap on the X-Sabers, and Gladiator Beasts, and killed the different builds decks for Cat Rescue But the X-Sabers still have Faultroll and Darksoul, and Gladiator Beasts are no longer Heavy Storm fear them, so I can not honestly say it's a big blow to them.

Heavy Storm. - A staple for a long time for almost all decks, now Banned format means a lot slower than before, as players can now make a set for many of his letters to defend themselves, without much fear of a Heavy Storm first turn.

Brain Control. - Also a staple of many decks (but not all logically [ie Gadget]), now banned means not having the power to steal an opponent's monster, attack / use tax for effect and then put a monarch / light and darkness dragon or used for a Synchro Summon, all for the cost of 800 points.

Limited:
Infernity Launcher. - Means a hit to the devastating combos (more than anything in the OCG [Japan]) of the Infernities. Still have very good letters of support, but not so attractive ... / recyclable / etc like this.

Black Whirlwind. - A letter pretty (hey, just enough, not saying it's the best or something xD ) Rotates to the Blackwings, will be limited now a pretty good letter to steal (on time, logical), but little to put a stop to Blackwings.

Monster Reborn. - How about a letter magical sounds that no charge will allow you to relive any monster ("revivible" logic) of any cemetery in defense or attack position on your back? Another more staple for most decks (except decks may not use cemetery, and stuff). Unlike the call of the haunted, which must be seteada for one turn to use it, and you can only revive a monster in your graveyard, and must be in attack mode on your back. Oh, and did not do anything to call of the haunted, which means you have 2 things to revive monsters.

Dark Hole. - I think ... 4 years has been banned. Many were surprised by the limitation of this letter, but because the truth is not so ... not to be expected, as has been shown to help more to a good OTK Heavy Storm that as you would a Dark Hole in many cases. Here, and below (Black Rose Dragon) is where the Starlight put good Roads. The trouble is that many people will not know to use it, and spent very quickly.

Royal Oppression. - Staple in Anti-Meta decks, and in one another deck but now limited means use a little less viable, and the need to learn to play with the new Solemn Warnings.

Now I am tired = (And yet I lack the Semi-Limited and Unlimited .... and even in my work I try so hard. Bleh, if the tasks were as interesting as this .... but .... we have to put business culture, Accounting, etc, etc ...

Semi-Limited:
Chaos Sorcerer. - With the ability to enter a monster Special Summoned by removing attribute attribute light and a dark cemetery, with priority to remove from play a monster face-up, and be revived by monster reborn and call of the haunted after its successful convocation, it is certain that this letter is to turn the occasional game. I do not think very well this moviento by Konami, but anyway ....

Snipe Hunter. - Not used already in many decks, this monster that usually (not always, by its effect) causes the destruction of a letter to the cost of discarding a hand, and which can not be denied by Stardust Dragon / My body as a shield / Letters anti-destruction, Snipe Hunter 2 can you see a space in another deck, but not as usable as it once was.

Dewloren, Tiger King of the Ice Barrier. - I guess it was semi-limited by its current participation in the OCG, where good bean combos with this card and Symbols of Duty. The truth was that I find it overpowered.

Mystical Space Typhoon. - I guess I put two to try to balance the loss of Heavy Storm. Dust Tornado is like, but you need not set to use him. (Duh, Quickplay Spell)

Ojama Trio. - You occupy three spaces to the opponent (anti monster reborn, call of the haunted, mind control, synchron explorer, Blizzard the Far North, etc, etc, in many cases), and dealing damage when they are destroyed. Not bad for burn decks, or another good move, but the tokens are good food for synchro summon.

Magic Cylinder. - Very good card, two you might see more use. Stop an attack and cause damage to the monster's ATK .... This excess in these times in this game.

Unlimited:
Goblin Zombie. - Since the zombies are dead (no pun intented! xD DDDDD) in this format, there was much reason for this letter was semi-limited or greater.

Cyber Dragon. - Letter widely used, and pretty good ... it might be very useful in decks for taxes / synchros, or simply to attack xD I get the impression that you will see one another deck of Chimeratechs, but are not as useful in these times as they were ... well, his time.

Black Rose Dragon. - Well, I think most of the field sweeping decks from time to time use only one pot of avarice bring it or something, but decks and Debris-Hime or builds you will see rare SalvoDAD good use.

Treeborn Frog. - For one who had no case to be in semi-limited, as only can get one for standby phase. In most decks I saw wearing two, three would not be .... would not be necessary.

United We Stand. - When I was a little 1 was forgotten, as well attack increase, but it was only one. Then put two and also saw in many decks. 3 Perhaps you see a little more .... 3 of those equip a monster that attacks 5 monsters when you live in your field and your opponent does not have S / T = WIN.

Royal Decree. - Stun Trap Big Brother, I saw only be used on decks that bring few traps (logically), and then ... no work, but use traps sacrificing your deck to prevent the opponent is not always feasible, especially with MST to 2. Most people chose to Side Deck or strategies to counter-attack the opponent's traps. Or just coped with the loss of a monster to the bottomless trap hole or royal oppression.

That's it for this list. A radical change by Konami, to see how they get the game ... and I can not wait to see the META list. I'm going, and wrote a damn, and do not get paid for doing this, bitches stitches. Until the next edition of ... ok, no.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Tips and Rulings: Starlight Road

Continuing the mini section for yugioh, we'll see on this letter that the use has changed slightly ... uhm ... "Without thinking" of many letters of mass destruction.

Starlight Road

You can only activate this card when an effect is activated 2 year would destroy more cards you control. Negate the effect and destroy that card. Then you can Special Summon from your Deck 1 "Stardust Dragon".

Stardust Dragon! hahahaha no mmn xD DDD

As usual (?), We begin with the rulings.

You can only link this letter directly to the card that would destroy 2 or more cards you control. That is, you can do something like Heavy Storm [Op] -> Dark Bribe [Your] -> Dark Bribe [Op] -> Starlight Road [Your].
It has to be activated in response to that letter. (Heavy Storm -> Starlight Road; Torrential Tribute -> Starlight Road)

If you deny the fact, but you can not destroy this letter, you can not put the Stardust.

You can not do Torrential Tribute, Bottomless Trap Hole or things like the Stardust. This is because although the effect of that letter (Torrential Tribute or Heavy Storm) was denied, the activation was not, so that would solve no effect, and would lose the timing to activate Torrential / Bottomless. Eye, this ruling does not you know many players.

You can change Starlight Road, even if you could not do Special Summon (the effect of Vanity's Fiend, for example), or even if you have Stardust Dragon in the deck (Make it Special Summon is optional.)

Starlight Road can not activate in the Damage Step (logically, right?) (An example, serial Cyber Jar xD DDD)

You can not do Starlight Road to the first effect of Elemental Hero Stratos, because they may not destroy letters.

You can deny Starlight Road with Royal Oppression, even if not intended to Special Summon the Dragon Stardust.

If you mess with the Dragon Stardust Starlight Road, is considered Special Summon, not Summon Synchro. So after you can not relive things like Call of the Haunted, or wanting to activate its effect.

We continue with the tips:

This letter, primarily works against commonly used letters (and strong) as Lightning Vortex, Heavy Storm, Torrential Tribute, Needle Ceiling, Black Rose Dragon, Gladiator Beast Gyzarus, Lightsworn Angel Celestia, Judgment Dragon, Mobius the Frost Monarch, Junk Destroyer, Wall of Thorns, Icarus Atack, Delta Crow - Anti Reverse, XX-Saber Hyunlei, etc ...

This letter will allow you to eventually "set starting all" safe (unless your opponent has Royal Oppression), something that could be done due to fear of cards like Heavy Storm, XX-Saber Hyunlei, Black Rose Dragon, among others. Although vera almost logical that if seteas all, you have a Starlight Road.

In use something old, but no less useful, use it with your Yubel - Terror Incarnate. Evolve to its next form, and you'll have a Stardust Dragon in the field apart ;)

And finally, at times desesperadosos, you can use to try to destroy your own cards, and enable Starlight Road to get the Stardust Dragon. Whether to save your ass, or to get a Stardust Dragon / Assault Mode.

Well, there you have it kids. Put attention to its multiple uses. It's a pretty good card, but I incuiria only one in the deck. Two if I use many spells and traps and / or are essential. And 3 is to cry to get caught in the hand / field.

Greetings to my awela who walks in Puerto Vallarta = D xD

Yu-Gi-Oh! Tips and Rulings: Mind Crush

Well ... according to this section of yugioh stuff, I will discuss tips and rulings of a letter lately is being used more than before, which is Mind Crush:

Mind Crush

Declares the name of a Charter. If your opponent has the letter (s) declared in his Hand, Discard all copies of the letter declared. Otherwise Discard a card at random.

Beginning with the rulings:

First of all, you can not activate this card if both players do not have minimum a letter in his hand. Logical, because the opponent must have one to try to guess which, and you must have a guess if not to rule.

Second, declare the name of the card when activated. That is, for example, declare "DD Crow". Then, the opponent can chain the Mind Crush DD Crow's effect. Nice, is not it?

Remember that you have to say the exact name of the letter. Not the same as saying "X-Saber Faultroll" to "XX-Saber Faultroll" ;)

Third, if the opponent does not have the declared card in hand, you can check your hand to check.

Now, I'm sure that the OCG has or has not declared the letter in hand, you can check your hand after the activation and resolution of the Mind Crush. But ... apparently there is an unofficial ruling by a judge on X something that if the opponent discards the card you named Czech not your hand. It seems more correct the first move, but I guess this is already decide on the time of mourning.

Now we continue with the tips:

I think this other letter written that one can stop things like, Gadgets, Black Whirlwind, Reinforcement of the Army, Koa'ki Meiru, Sangan, and many similar, no?

So then, I guess we can add to the list a couple of tips that are not so visible.
The first would be the obvious combo with Dustshoot Trap Mind Crush. If you combine these two cards, you can give the opponent a -2 * 0 * (Minimum, as if with Mind Crush has more than one card with the same name, as you discard all) Apart from the fact that having seen the hand and you would have in mind the possible moves that could take.

Not bad, eh? And what if the opponent or your use mole? (Neo-Spacian Grand Mole) For the face-up monster turn up, or being sodomized ... I mean being attacked by a bat (being shorter tell you the name mole xD ), You can activate Mind Crush to do rule.

And if they attack a weaker light monster your monster? Would not be wrong turn and declare Mind Crush "Honest", right? ;)

That in the case of such rituals? Now with the Djinns, rituals are more ... playable? xD What would happen if Black Illusion Ritual activate or something and encadenaras Mind Crush, declaring "Relinquished"? Well, discard the Relinquished and Black Illusion Ritual effect disappears. Neat, huh? Same with the End of the World (Ritual Demise, King of Armageddon)

Moving on with a tip a little more hidden (it's true, many do not know), and putting it as a star tip: Mind Gorz the Emissary Crush stops and Tragoedia of Darkness.

Lol, right? For though many do not know, the effect of Gorz does not activate as many do / do: PUSHing quickly as it enters the attack. Both effects (Gorz and Tragoedia) was activated from the hand, showing the monster, which we can link Mind Crush! How about there? = P

Do not know if the same applies to the Battle Fader, but it seems the same situation.

So you know, little pipopes, whether to include this letter in your deck, and decision will be yours. Good luck, and expect to another edition of yugioh posts xD Lolwut.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Child's play?

Well, I wanted to post this before, but well .... sometimes I'm not in the mood for blogging, or when I'm in the mood I have no time or I'm tired or things like that, but ... ps much neglected blog xD

Anyway, what I mean here is that I like pretty bad when people learn that game (or play my friends and I) the card game Yu-Gi-Oh. It's that "Oh, that immature" or "Playing little letters", or "That's not for children"? (This last is who if you ask curiously, these are passed)

And then, if they had a little more than IQ, they would realize that it is a strategy game very advanced (and expensive) that logically a child could not compete.

That the yugioh anime series you have been given a touch of caricature to children is another thing (is anime, and advertising, etc ...), but then ... what kind of people believed to be of males playing "poker" and its variants but yugioh is for kids to play? Where if you have to think about strategies, combined with luck and other factors ....

Well, there are people ... I just wanted to explain the obvious.

Ancient Guardian Gear

It occurred to me creating this letter ... ps I like the Ancient Gears, to see that such:

Ancient Guardian Gear

When a face-up "Ancient Gear" monster you controls would be Destroyed by a card effect, you can send this card from your hand to your graveyard to Prevent STIs destruction. This effect can be Used DURING Either player's turn. This effect can only be Used eleven per turn.

When a monster "Ancient Gear" face-up that you control were to be destroyed by a card effect, you can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard to prevent its destruction. This effect can be used during either player's turn. This effect can only be used once per turn.
